Final Halloween Contest Rules and Prizes

**** IMPORTANT UPDATE!!! ****

I HAVE DECIDED TO EXTEND THE CONTEST DEADLINE TO OCTOBER 31st.  WE ARE GETTING SOME ADVERTISEMENT BY SOME OTHER GROUPS AND THIS WILL GIVE THE NEW MEMBERS THAT WOULD LIKE TO ENTER THE CONTEST TIME TO CREATE THEIR ARTWORK.  IF ANYONE HAS ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT.

The contest will officially begin October 1st and will run for four weeks ending on October 31st.  The winner of the contest will be determined by poll voting along with 2nd and 3rd place.  However the contest folder is open for submissions now.

Contest Rules:

1 Entry Per Member (you must be a member of the Virtual Customs group to enter)

It has to be a Halloween Theme Wallpaper.  Submissions that are not
"Halloween" based will not be accepted. Also no deviations older than two weeks will
be accepted.  This has to be new works, not works you have created last year

There will be no resolution requirement however, we would prefer the wallpapers to be in a common aspect ratios.  Examples (1920x1200, 1920x1080, 1680x1050, 1600X900, ..etc...etc..)

You will NOT be able to change your submission in the contest.  Once you
make the submission its a done deal.  So make sure it's your best work!!

  You can make the wallpaper with the software of your choosing.  Any you can
use any style that you want. Examples: Minimalistic, Fractal, Vector, 3d, etc...etc..

The use of stock will be allowed however, you must credit the original creators in your post otherwise the submission will not be accepted.  And please don't just use someone's stock images and apply a filter or two and call it your own. If we see this happening you will be disqualified from the contest and your submission will be removed.  If anyone has any other questions or concerns please reply to this blog or, comment on the group page.  Don't keep sending the staff members in the VC group notes asking about details.  That's what this blog is for

You must also state in your post that the deviation your submitting is for the Halloween Wallpaper Contest being held in this group

  Entries that do not contain all the required information will be removed from the Contest folder!!
